A 3D-sculpted hand, gilded at the throat. Cast in silk PLA in gold, then covered — stone by stone — in hand-applied gold rhinestone, with rings set on the fingers. THE MIDAS doesn't drip blood — she drips chains. Layered gold chains fall from the wrist in long strands.
Handmade to order. Each choker starts as a 3D print — about 7 hours on the printer for the hand alone. Every rhinestone is then applied by hand, which takes about half a day per choker, before the rings, chains and drip are assembled and finished. Each piece is handmade, so no two are exactly alike — slight variations in shade and placement are part of the piece.
